Mission
.....To provide an environment that promotes the Filipino culture of volunteerism for nation building
Goals
..... PFCCVN aims to: 1.Promote the Filipino culture and volunteerism;
2. Educate the community regarding prevalent issues affecting their lives;
3.Establish linkages with different people and organizations who believe in the spirit of volunteerism;
4. Advocate for students' needs and interest and emancipation of the poor and the weak sector of society.
Programs
1. Community Education and Advocacy (symposia, seminars, sponsorships, newsletter, magazines, brochures, posters) 2. Bridging Communities (students' needs and school's programs, FCC students and FCC alumni, community needs and FCC)
3. Volunteers' Education (community immersion, trainings, fellowships)

Updated: PATABANG launches "TABANG - BULIG SA MGA BIKTIMA SANG BAGYO ONDOY KAG BAGYO PEPENG"

.....In addressing the needs of the victims of typhoon Ondoy and typhoon Pepeng in Luzon, and in Metro Manila, PATABANG FCC Volunteers Network launches the project "TABANG -BULIG SA MGA BIKTIMA SANG BAGYO ONDOY & PEPENG" - campaigning and gathering donations (water, used clothing, dry goods, or even cash) from the students and the FCC community.
..... The donations will be sent to the victims of typhoon Ondoy & Pepeng thru the CPBC (Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches), a partner institution of Filamer Christian College and thru ABS-CBN.

As of October 9, 2009, Patabang, along with other student organizations and the Extension Office of Filamer Christian College, has already channelled some donations to ABS - CBN. Gathering of goods is still going on and students can drop their donations at FCC Extension Office.

Patabang Filamer Christian College Volunteers Network

Patabang FCC Volunteers Network exists to strengthen the Christian values among Filipino people through the application of bayanihan culture.

.....Patabang FCC Volunteers Network is the organization of FCC students and alumni who believe that bayanihan culture should be promoted through the spirit of volunteerism and networking. Spirit of volunteerism means doing neighborly act to the one in need out of maayong kabubut-on and utang nga buot sa Dios.Networking is to be done on the principles of pooling together the resources of FCC, both material and human. By pooling together all the resources of students and alumni alike, FCC will create a greater positive impact in the lives of the students and society as well. The name PATABANG is the local term in Capiz province for bayanihan.It is a culture that expresses the Filipino's understanding of love of neighbor when seen in the light of the teaching of the Holy Scriptures.

MEMBERSHIP

.....After the Application for membership has been approved by the screening committee of Patabang FCC Volunteers Network, the new member will be obliged to pay the Membership Fee required by the organization in order to be considered a full fledge member and will continue to pay a minimum and affordable amount for monthly dues, as required to by he organization.
RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF EVERY MEMBER
.....Present proposal related to the general program of action, policies, and plans, amendments of The rights of every member are the following:
1.The constitution and by laws of the organization, and other important issues on the task and functions of the organization. 2.To elect and be elected as the officer of the organization. 3.Present report, suggestion, grievances, and criticism to any member and officer of the organization. 4.To raise unresolved issue to the organization. 5.Freely presents its opinion and participate in the decision making, plan of action of the organization. 6. to give up it’s membership with a formal letter, elaborating the reasons for giving up

1. Forge unity among other members,
2. Affirm, defend and follow the Constitution and By Laws, Program, Polices and Organizational Rules and integrity of the organization.
3. Implement and fulfill the necessary part in the plan of action that was agreed upon by the organization.
4. Coordinate with the officers of the organization.
5. Attend all meetings of the organization.
